R&K Engineering, Inc. (R&K)
R&K is a professional engineering firm with an extensive resume of facilities management support to DoD. We are the primary contractor for the Facilities Operations Model (FOM), the Facilities Sustainment Model (FSM) and Facilities Modernization Model (FMM). Real property management and master planning are R&K’s other prime areas of expertise.
We developed the initial FSM for the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and have supported data collection, business rule development, cost factors, data processing, and outputs of the FSM since its inception in 1999. We participated in and made significant contributions to the development of the FMM and have supported data collection, business rule development, data processing, and outputs of the FMM since its inception in 2004. We supported the initial development and implementation of the FOM in 2004 and have continued to support data collection, business rule development, data processing, outputs, and web application of the FOM to the present.

Emerald was started in 1996 and is a nationally recognized professional engineering and consulting firm. Emerald is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska with branch offices in Alexandria and Virginia Beach, Virginia. Emerald’s areas of expertise include technical program management, information technology/telecommunications, project management, engineering and design, process safety/risk management and technical training. Emerald has a Top Secret facility clearance.
